Rubber rollers, also called "rubber rolls," are cylindrical tubes used to facilitate movement to machine components. Rubber rollers also provide support and transportation to materials moving through the machine. Rubber roller manufacturers produce rubber rollers that vary widely in size, ranging from one inch to several inches in length. Width also varies.

AB Rock
Our custom made formulation of rock rolls are an excellent equilavent to ebonite. Ab Rock rollers are stronger & brittle in nature. They have a better life span & can work under extreme conditions.Rock Rollers have better tensile strenght, resistance to weather, heat, oils, sand particles & doctor blade impressions for longer periods.

EPDM:
EPDM offers you excellent ozone resistance and chemical resistance. It also has above average abrasion and dent resistance. Our EPDM's feature a balance of physical properties and chemical resistance which makes for their ideal use in a wide variety of rubber roller applications.

NITRILE:
or (NBR) or (BUNA) is the work horse of roller applications. It's great physical properties makes it a cost effective covering for many run-of-the-mill nip, idler, pull roll applications. Also, NBR's chemical resistance make it great for a wide variety of applications.

NITRILE PVC:
Like our EPDM Silicone blends, here is another rare instance in which the combining of two compounds results in the best properties of both. Used in many printing applications because of its balance of physical properties and resistance to many chemicals.

Nitrile PVC offers the following specific properties: 1. Resistance to aliphatic hydrocarbons (oil base inks) 2. Improved ozone resistance over Nitrile 3. Improved abrasion resistance over Nitrile

CARBOXYLATED NITRILE:
This compound is similar to nitrile rubber. However, the polymer back bone has been chemically modified with carboxylic acid. The result is a rubber with outstanding abrasion resistance and chemical resistance, far superior to that of traditional Nitrile.

HYDROGENATED NITRILE (HNBR):
This compound has been developed to compete head to head with polyurethane. HNBR surpasses conventional NBR compounds in many areas:

1.Mechanical properties

2.Dynamic properties

3.Oil and fuel resistance

4.Heat resistance. Physical properties are maintained over the range of temperatures, as opposed to urethane elastomers which degrade proportionately to changes in temperature.

5.Improved abrasion resistance. Improved tear and chunk out resistance.

6.Retention of toil geometry. The initial higher cost is repaid to you over and over again in improved performance and long term savings in maintenance and downtime costs. Head to head trials have shown our HNBR lasts three to five times longer then typical roll coverings.

HYPALON:
This compound is the mule of elastomers. Outstanding abrasion and cut resistance coupled with excellent ozone, heat, and chemical resistance make it one tough producer in many roller applications such as corona treating, laminating, coating and cast film nip rolls.

NEOPRENE:
Once the work horse of the industry, it is now not called upon as it once was. The evolution of some of the other compounds shown here has led to the decline of neoprene's use in some applications. However neoprene is still the compound of choice for some applications. Neoprene rolls offer good tensile, cut resistance and low compression set.

NATURAL RUBBER:
The foundation compound that all coverings came from, natural rubber still has some outstanding qualities that have kept it a viable covering for some applications. It has excellent load bearing properties, tensile strength, abrasion resistance, resistance to polar solvents (esters and ketones) and is available in extremely hard durometers which are used in both the paper and textile industries.

FLUOROELASTOMER (VITON):
Offer excellent heat resistance, excellent fuel oil and chemical resistance and excellent abrasion and cut resistance. The place for this covering always justifies the cost. Uses are quite often where nothing else will work. In the correct use this compound is awesome.

Custom Made Compounds
Our Rubber offer extremely good wear resistance, with excellent solvent resistance. Contact us and we can formulate a compound for your particular need.

CORONA TREATER:
Our corona treater roller covering is a hypalon covering specially designed to withstand the rigors of its environment. This compound has outstanding dielectric strength which enables it to insulate against the high voltage at the treater station. Although several materials have been tested for voltage corona discharge, our compound stands up better than silicone which is easily cut, and ceramic coatings which add significant weight to the rollers requiring auxiliary drive units.

SILICONE:
Silicone rubber is definitely one of a kind The important characteristics are heat resistance and release, or the inability for things to stick to it. We have specialized in silicone since the beginning. Although our industrial grades are great producers, our other grades such as high release, thermally conductive, FDA approved and anti-static are superior in their particular applications and have become national he roes!

Important characteristics:

Outstanding resiliency

Low coefficient of friction (high release)

Heat resistance up to 500 F

EPDM SILICONE:
A unique blend of EPDM and Silicone that combines the best properties of the two compounds. The EPDM-Silicone blend is well suited for applications where a balance of heat, release, strength and chemical resistance is required. In some applications, straight silicone or EPDM's physical properties don't measure up to the job at hand but the two compounds combined can often measure up better than either one alone.
